I should add that when I can get a couple of dozen NVMe SSDs in a single chassis I will be more than happy to stop pushing the envelope on SAS/SATA storage. There are so few SSD SAS drives, none of which are available from distribution at this point in time, that creative solutions have to be found and that some times flies in the face of conventional wisdom.
