I formated it on Windows 7 and today I tested on another machine running Windows. > head -c 11 [device-path] | tail -c 8 > # head -c 11 [device-path] | tail -c 8 [device-path]: No such file or directory tail: 8: No such file or directory BTW we are talking about a plain USB flash disk.
