That huge box is likely to cost you in electricity per year what its purchasing price is on ebay. In your place, I'd rather spend half of that $600 on an HP Microserver N54L. Don't underestimate what Microserver can do either. Those things are capable of taking up to 16GB of ECC DRAM & easily saturating 1 gig Ethernet when operating as a file server.
