Although the setup PPPoE-connection there is a utility RP-PPPoE, automates the above process, using it is not always possible to "bare" system due to lack of necessary libraries. If you do not want to deal with setting up the connection manually, or you do not have time for it, try using a utility Solman, written in Java. The virtual Java-machine by default is a standard set of Solaris.

Download the program archive <http://www.post.arhipkin.com/upload/Solman.tar.gz>, unzip, then go to the directory and run the command, as shown below:
*ilya@miass:$ sudo java -jar “Solman.jar”
