Hello Dan Swartzendruber and List, I am using this card with sil3512 chipset: http://www.digitus.info/linux/en/products/accessories/interface-cards/pc-interface-cards/sata-ide/sata-150-raid-pci-card-2-port-ds-33101/ with no trouble at OI_148 only rpool.
