Hi, I tried enabling the nfs/client service, but actually it just goes offline, and it doesn't mount on reboot, keeping the nfs/client service in offline state. I checked both /var/adm/messages and in /var/svc/log/ , but found nothing about any possible error. Still, I can mount manually just by doing mount /sources Any idea? To enable the service you can do the following: # svcadm enable svc:/network/nfs/client:default or # svcadm enable nfs/client:default Hope that helps. Is this the reason? Could you post your /etc/vfstab entry ? What does the following return? # svcs -a | grep nfs # svcs -a | grep bind Regards, Deniz Rende On Wed, Nov 23, 2011 at 12:01 PM, Gabriele Bulfon wrote: Hi, can't figure out why OI is not mounting nfs automatically at boot through vfstab. The system is configured with two interfaces, one for LAN and one for NFS storage, different networks. Once I get into the system after boot, I see NFS is not mounted. Then I just run "mount /data" and OI mounts through vfstab. What am I missing? There is no log in adm/messages bout it. Thanx Gabriele. _______________________________________________ OpenIndiana-discuss mailing list OpenIndiana-discuss@openindiana.org http://openindiana.org/mailman/listinfo/openindiana-discuss -- _______________________________________________ OpenIndiana-discuss mailing list OpenIndiana-discuss@openindiana.org http://openindiana.org/mailman/listinfo/openindiana-discuss _______________________________________________ OpenIndiana-discuss mailing list OpenIndiana-discuss@openindiana.org http://openindiana.org/mailman/listinfo/openindiana-discuss _______________________________________________ OpenIndiana-discuss mailing list OpenIndiana-discuss@openindiana.org http://openindiana.org/mailman/listinfo/openindiana-discuss
