"Open Indiana" is a goofy name, even considering its history, but the acronym is OK.

Similar to how Kentucky Fried Chicken is now KFC, can we consider emphasizing "oi"?

Graphics for "oi" would be easy to make look sharp for a nice "out of the box" experience

OpenIndiana is sort of the 'Fedora Core' of Illumos.

Some possible names:

Illumos Live

Illumos Core

Illumos [version_number] - [adjective] [animal]

I think OpenIndiana is great, I just don't think that the name 'Indiana'
means anything to anyone and isn't very memorable.
