What I found (the hard way): create /etc/nwam/llp like this:
e1000g0 static 10.0.0.4/24 obviously you change the IP and interface name :) put the default route in /etc/defaultrouter like this: root@nas:/etc/nwam# cat /etc/defaultrouter 10.0.0.254 Make sure /etc/resolv.conf has dns servers and domain like this: domain xxx.com nameserver 10.0.0.254 -----Original Message----- From: Serge Fonville [mailto:serge.fonvi...@gmail.com] Sent: Saturday, June 18, 2011 7:55 PM To: openindiana-discuss@openindiana.org Subject: [OpenIndiana-discuss] Configure static IP with nwam Hi, I recently installed a oi_148 system. By default every interface is configured with DHCP and NWAM I read I can configure NWAM with static IPs and that it would be 'better' that way somehow. Unfortunately I can not find any resource what I need to do in what order to have all four interfaces configured with static IPs. What do I need to do to set this up? Thanks in advance What do I need to do, to set this up Kind regards/met vriendelijke groet, Serge Fonville http://www.sergefonville.nl Convince Google!!
