Double-check what NIC that has. Intel Sandy Bridge chipset NICs aren't 
supported yet. The Dell I got last week with an H67 motherboard has a Broadcom 
chipset NIC (BCM57788) that ... also isn't supported yet. Driver support is an 
area where I hope Illumos can move faster than Sun/Oracle ever did.

So you may need to factor in a supported NIC. I've ordered an Intel gigabit NIC 
for my box for what looks the going rate here - £25 - the intent is that it is 
supported by the e1000 driver.
