Is it really a blocker? OVS 2.4 has been out since August 20, 2015 [1] and I at least think people have been using it at least somewhat successfully w/ ofp/ofj/ovsdb?
I am not opposed to things getting fixed, but we are cutting it close. This patch was meant to alleviate the superfluous logging which people have apparently been experiencing for quite some time...
