Indeed I'd rather avoid fragmenting the documentation.
I'm copying the main contents of Joel's mail to the documentation in the
Contribute chapter, to use as as a starting point.

The "working in teams" section should definitely be updated. As for the bulk of
your mail, I think the most appropriate place would be here:

cleaning up all the outdated stuff) This section should then link to the
generic OpenERP coding guidelines for all "technical guidelines".
