If you do [('foo_ids', 'in', [id,id2])] on a one2many, it checks one for which an in id foo_ids is in (id, id2). So this is what you expect I guess. When you do [('foo_ids', '=', id)], I think it also searches for a one2many containing an id (not sure, to be tested), so this is also what you expect. As far as I know, the only limitation is that we can not do a ==. So, I think this is not possible: [('foo_ids', '=', [id,id2])] But I never had a scenario when I needed that.
