At least for us, who have a lot of recipes that create users/groups, a fix for https://bugzilla.yoctoproject.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11124 is needed. Currently, if anything happens to invalidates base-passwd without also invalidating everything else, we end up in a situation where every other recipe fails and the only (simple) solution is to remove tmp and start over. Which at least to me is not very nice to the user...
