going over richard purdie's recent patch for recipe-specific
sysroots explained here:

  https://patchwork.openembedded.org/patch/136198/

and while i'm digging through the code, what should be a simple
question -- is what is being installed in a recipe-specific sysroot
*exactly* what used to be installed by a recipe in the common sysroot?

i'm looking at staging.bbclass and i assume the answer is in there,
but can someone clarify that that's what's happening, or is there some
difference with recipe-specific sysroots?

i'm sure i'm going to have more questions as i get further into the
code.
