I think you're right. Now I got this error: | checking X11/extensions/XShm.h... yes | checking Pango flags... configure: error: | *** Pango not found. Pango built with Cairo support is required | *** to build GTK+. See http://www.pango.org for Pango information. | I will keep cleaning all packages until the complete dependency chain is clean. When I first faced this error I had just rm -rf tmp folder. I did think it would redo anything needed....
