FWIW, I have tested this patch by booting angstrom/systemd-image on qemuarm/qemumips/qemumips64/qemuppc/ qemux86/qemux86-6 without a problem. Secondly there is a qemu segmentation fault with 1.4.1 qemu when trying to emulate mips64 is now fixed with 1.5 so thats an improvement.
