I think you're right, you have a good point here and we need to do something about this. Reviewing the discussion upstream, I think they proposed a different way of handling the patch so we need to look into that. I will look at taking our other workaround short term but we need a bug opened and someone to look at trying to get a proper patch into glibc IMO... Cheers, Richard
