+Sometimes this test fails, and it appears as if this is because if the system

+loaded then the 'after 0' and 'after 10' blocks happen in the same iteration of
+the interpretter and are executed in the wrong order.
+
+Increase the timeout on the 10ms interval to 1000ms to be a little more
forgiving
+of system load.
+
