in base.bbclass oe_runmake says

${MAKE} ${EXTRA_OEMAKE} "$@"

and

conf/bitbake.conf says

EXTRA_OEMAKE_prepend_task-compile = "${PARALLEL_MAKE} "

hmmm so we dont parallel make if task is not called do_compile ?
