Hi Nitish,
The openbabel-scripting mailing list has been shut down - much easier to
discuss on the general list, because many people are using Python for "general"
use. :-)
You tried "pip install openbabel" and it didn't work? What does
"dir(openbabel)" say after running pip?
For the "regular install," what version are you using? I'd suggest installing
from Git (which will be OB v2.5 this fall). I'm quite certain that works for
python3, since I've used that myself.
