Hello, Thanks very much for the answer but the problem looks worse now :( ... I assign the environment variable, but still there.
I don't have any other version of openbabel in the system, and I'm using the last subversion. My Os is ubuntu 12.04 and g++ versin is 4.6.3. I'm installing in my home folder, and the PATH are well defined. I attached a file with all the detail, because is to much to put it in the e-mail (and probably unnecessary). Any hint about this segfault ? Thanks for your time.
