Dear all:
I am trying to install openbabel2.3.1 on redhat linux with the following
command:
cmake ../openbabel-2.3.1/ -DEIGEN2_INCLUDE_DIR=path -DPERL_BINDINGS=ON
-DJAVABINDINGS=ON -DPYTHON_BINDINGS=ON
However I am getting the error:
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible ../lib/libopenbabel.so when searching
for -lopenbabel
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lopenbabel
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
error: command 'c++' failed with exit status 1
make[2]: *** [scripts/CMakeFiles/_openbabel] Error 1
make[1]: *** [scripts/CMakeFiles/_openbabel.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2
Compilation without python bindings seems sucessful as judged by make test.
Searching the mailing list did not provide me with any clues.
Any suggestions what I am missing?
Thanks in advance,
Markus
