Hi,

I just encountered a promising tool called MyChem ( http://mychem.sourceforge.net ) which is an extension for MySQL to handle chemical data within MySQL. According the manual it seems very interesting (it is linked against OpenBabel), but I'm struggling to install it working on my Mac OS X system. I believe it has to do with differences in shared library naming between Linux (.so) and OS X (.dylib) , but I can't get it fixed so far.

Is there anyone who has been able to install this promising tool on OS X?

Many thx in advance,
Hans
