Hello,

I was wondering, is there a way to get the openbabel version number
within python? I know there is --version option in the command line,
however, I didn't find something similar in the python interface.
If not, would it be possible to add it to the python interface? That
would be very helpful to check if certain features are present or not if
a script is run on another machine.

Best regards
Tobias
