If you can use Linux, that would be the thing to do, as the Perl
bindings work just fine in Linux with the current release. I would
like to get them working also in Windows (and as I said, have tried
before), and hopefully our new build system will help with this
effort. Perhaps when I come around to trying this again, you can help
troubleshoot (?).

BTW, you might find it convenient to do like me, and run a Linux image
under VMWare on Windows. This can be done for free (legally) as
summarised on my blog
(http://baoilleach.blogspot.com/2009/09/running-windows-openbabel-gui-under.html).

Download Intel® Parallel Studio Eval
Try the new software tools for yourself. Speed compiling, find bugs
proactively, and fine-tune applications for parallel performance.
See why Intel Parallel Studio got high marks during beta.
