It looks like one of your steps above left a session partially setup in
the kernel.

Why are you restarting iscsid and what command are you using to restart it?

iscsiuio is only used for bnx2i, so it should not really come into play
other than starting and stopping if that service is being restarted
along with iscsid. You would need to attach the core so the qlogic or
Red Hat developers can look at it.
