SUMMARY Mathematical symbols (set theory, lambda, "there exists", etc...) are not being displayed for PDF files, there is only a tiny blank space on their place. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. I'll use as an example a paper Luca Cardelli provides in his webpage. Download: http://lucacardelli.name/Papers/OnUnderstanding.A4.pdf 2. Open it with Okular, see how all math symbols are missing... 3. Open it with any other app (e.g., Firefox, Sumatra PDF, ...) and see the math symbols are there. OBSERVED RESULT The math symbols are not being shown. EXPECTED RESULT Being able to see the math symbols.
