If you say “at this low level”, would being more abstract make more sense? The documentation of e. g. showMenu() is really low level now, and people are lazy and break it up. If it just explains when it should be called, it should work fine for some time, because people are too lazy to change how it is called, and the purpose keeps the same. Wrote that I give up for today, so will stop thinking about it now.
