As for bug 373863:
In order to analyse the problem further, it would be very helpful to have the
PPD file of the printer in use. It is usually stored under
'/etc/cups/ppd/<PRINTERNAME>.ppd'.
In case it could be attached to this bug report, that might be very helpful.
