I would also like this, and I think it would make sense especially in
combination with tabs.
This way I could open my directory of pdf documents in tree view in the side
bar, and quickly open several of them in tabs. I've done something similar with
konqueror in the past, but it would be preferrable to have it directly in
okular, e.g. since konqueror adds an additional status bar.
