In the Okular version shipped with KDE 4.11 RC2 I'm observing this behavior:
with some pdfs (for example those with both portrait and landscape pages) its
impossible to make the okular window width smaller than the landscape page
size.
This does not happen with the Okular version shipper with KDE 4.10.5, so it
seems it's not a backend problem (just wild guessing).
Such behavior is particulary bad when using the Okular part in Kile, since the
Okular part takes more than half of the screen space, stealing precious space
for the editor.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open the attached document
2. try to reduce the width
Actual Results:
you can't have a window smaller than the landscape page width
Expected Results:
the windows should shrink as in KDE 4.10.5
