No one can estimate an open source software to have a special feature. But an open source software which pretends to have a special feature an makes damage to someones work with this is bull shit. A simple warning message would be less work, than they make for every single person which fall for this. In my eyes they wanted to pretend strong features, which okular not really has drawn to pdf support.
