I'm using Kubuntu Netbook 9.10. I tried to open a beamer (latex) presentation
in PDF using the default viewer Okular. I observed that pages transitions are
very slow more than 5s during normal mode and presentation mode, I tried to set
the performance to aggressive but I didn't see any change.
I installed adobe reader in the same system and pc, the pages transitions are
instantaneous, in normal and presentation modes.
PS: This behavior is also repeted for DVI and PS files, derived from beamer
latex classes.
