Summary: FEATURE REQUEST: Add ability to insert URL links into
                    "pop-up note" annotations
           Product: okular
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: unspecified
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: okular-devel@kde.org
        ReportedBy: jrtaylo...@gmail.com

Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

I often find myself wanting to insert links to Wikipedia articles, and other
web pages, into my annotations for PDF files that I am reading in Okular.

I wanted to propose a "Insert Link" menu option in the context menu that pops
up when I right click on the text editing area of a "Pop-up Note".

I would then enter a URL, and text to display for the link (which would be the
currently highlighted text if I highlighted some text and clicked "Insert
Link") and then click "Add Link".

This would insert a clickable link into the pop-up note at the current cursor
position (or by converted the highlighted text to a link, if text was
highlighted).

This link could then be modified later by right clicking on it, and opening the
"Edit link" dialog.

When the link is clicked, the default browser would be invoked to handle the
request.

Thanks,
Jesse Taylor
