--- Comment #1 from Pino Toscano <pino kde org> 2009-05-25 18:46:29 --- The Ark guys recently had huge problems with the non-free unace command-line decompressor (bug #192925), especially that unace can trunc file names when decompressing/testing an archive (thus making the reading of the file list unpredictable). On the other hand, the free unace decompressor stops at an old version of ACE, which I suppose is no more widely used among ACE users... (looks like the same situation with RAR, sigh) so it is mostly unuseful.
