Hi to all. As far as I understand, okular saves annotations into a local DB in the ~/.okular folder (or something like this). This way annotations are bound to the place where they are generated and I find this a serious limitation. As such, I propose a feature to let the user have annotations saved in a separate file, xml or the thing you like most. This way annotations can easily travel toghter with the file they refer to. Moreover this approach would be indpenedent of the format of the original file, something that seems very in the spirit of Okular.
