------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=159409 Summary: fast turning pages of pdf files faster than the content is displayed Product: okular Version: 0.6.1 Platform: unspecified OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: okular-devel kde org ReportedBy: salazar666 gmx de
Version: 0.6.1 (using 4.0.1 (KDE 4.0.x >=20080201) "release 14.3", compiled sources) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22.17-0.1-bigsmp First thing is, that there is no keyboard shortcut for turning the pages in PDF files. You have to click buttons with the mouse. Fortunately its possible to configure it by yourself (e.g. <left> for next page, <right> for prev page). If you press <Pgup/down> or <space> you will only see the next "screen", but the page joints are moving with each page and it's hard browse a large document very fast. Next thing is, that even if you have assigned the keys or feel ok with the descibed behave, Okular turns the PDF pages so fast, that they will not be displayed anymore until you stop pressing the key. I would prefer to see the whole content of the pages, even if the browsing would be slower than. Because I usually want to get an overview. If I know the page I want to go, I can type in the number I want. Anyway, thanks for the great work Salazar _______________________________________________ Okular-devel mailing list Okular-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/okular-devel
