Indonesia's Jasa Marga to Buy Highway Operator, Daily Says

Aug. 4 (Bloomberg) -- PT Jasa Marga plans to acquire PT
Marga Nujyasumo Agung, which runs a toll-road project in East
Java, for as much as 600 billion rupiah ($66 million),
Investor Daily Indonesia reported.
The company may buy a stake of as much as 60 percent in
Marga Nujyasumo, or MNA, Investor said, citing Jasa Marga
President Director Frans Sunito.
MNA has invested in a 37-kilometer (23-mile) highway project
that will link Surabaya, Indonesia's second-largest city in East
Java, with Mojokerto, the report said. The project is valued at
3.3 trillion rupiah, of which 30 percent is funded by MNA,
Investor said.
Jakarta-based Jasa Marga is Indonesia's biggest toll-road
operator.
