July 2 (Bloomberg) -- PT Energi Mega Persada, Indonesia's
second-biggest publicly listed oil company, said it will ``most
likely'' borrow to pay $272 million of debt and doesn't plan a
share sale.
``I've been getting calls asking about this rumor that
we're selling shares at as low as 850 rupiah,'' Herwin Hidayat,
head of investor relations, said by telephone in Jakarta today.
``There won't be any rights issue to refinance debt'' maturing
in August, he said.
Energi Mega will announce the refinancing by the end of
this week, Hidayat said.
The shares fell as much as 80 rupiah, or 8.1 percent, to
910 rupiah in Jakarta today, the biggest intraday decline since
April 3. Energi Mega was at 920 rupiah at 2:56 p.m. local time.
