PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), Indonesia's largest coal mining company under Bakrie Group, reports lower net profit last year due to deferred stripping cost. Excluding stripping cost, Bumi might post US$448 million of net profit last year, above consensus analysts. "Bumi has outperformed on sales production volume at lower cost in 2009," said Bumi's Senior Vice President Investor Relations Dileep Srivastava in a short message service to Insider Stories tonight.
