Saya sependapat tidak perlu hitung berat kapal, cuman maksimum water level
aja, tambah safety factor mungkin 20 %.

Berarti dua kanal tersebut tidak terhubung dengan sungai dibawahnya, karena
berdasarkan prinsip "bejana berhubungan" tentunya level air akan sama, tidak
mungkin berbeda seperti gambar, kecuali ada energi yang mempengaruhi
(seperti pompa).

Tapi logikanya, sungai ngalir ke laut, dan kanal terhubung ke laut. Kalo
sama-sama terhubung kelaut, tentunya prinsip "bejana berhubungan berlaku.

Kecuali kanalnya terhubung ke Danau yang terpisah dengan laut, kalo terpisah
bagaimana cara kapal menuju laut, masa naik daratan..:D.

Ada yang bisa jawab kebingungan saya??

Atau karana saya Tolol makanya bingung...

The civil engineer that design the bridge does NOT have to calculate
the weight of the ship using the Archimedes law:
- The weight of the ship will be EXACTLY equal to the water that
is displaced by the floating ship.
- The heavier the ship, the bigger will be the water that will
be displaced by the ship, this displaced water will
be EVENLY distributed to whole area of the river bridge.
- So the engineer will ignore the weight of the ship and will
use maximum height of water as the load of burden that must
be withstand by the bridge...
