YES I agree with EL, bail out is not even a solution. it's almost the same condition as Indonesia 1998 when many banks bankrupt and leaving toxic asset. which at the end the government sold the asset in ridiculously cheap price.(hope this will not happened in US)
US still leaves its auto industry almost in bankruptcy, auto industry hold major employment in US. yet this industry must not be bail out. US auto is diminishing caused by nature (survival of the fittest) their efficiency cost is very low compare to JAPAN. the management is also spend money (private jet, luxurious company dinner, etc) i have one another option in this crisis, US economy will not as strong as ever even after recovery. the problem in the crisis, why its affecting other country is because US is the biggest demand for everybody. where the money goes? CHINA... logic behind it, since property in US boosted by lousy credits banking (and now government) is like giving money to their people in order to keep spending... and i think we all can guess where the housing products and others comes mostly from.
