O valor de u n�o � muito importante, o importante aqui � s. Observe que os casos em que o maior n�mero � A, B, C correspondem respectivamente a -1<s<1, s>1 e s<-1. No in�cio do jogo, ningu�m sabe o valor correto de s, s� que s � diferente de 1 e -1. O jogador A fica em d�vida entre s (o valor correto) e 1/s, B fica em d�vida entre s e 2-s e C fica em d�vida entre s e -2-s. Se s = 0 (ou seja, se os n�meros forem 2u, u, u) ent�o A descobre seu n�mero na primeira jogada. Assim, depois de A passar a vez na primeira jogada fica sendo conhecimento comum entre A, B, C que s � diferente de 0. Na segunda jogada, B descobre seu n�mero se e somente se 2-s j� tiver sido eliminado, ou seja, para s = 2 (2u,3u,u; A teria falado se fosse 2u,u,u) e para s = 3 (2u,4u,2u). Assim na segunda jogada s�o eliminados 2 e 3. Na terceira jogada C descobre seu n�mero se e somente se -2-s j� tiver sido eliminado, ou seja, para s = -2, -3, -4 e -5. Na quarta jogada A descobre seu n�mero se e somente se 1/s tiver sido eliminado na segunda ou terceira rodada (se tivesse sido eliminado antes, ele (A) teria falado antes). Ou seja, A responde na quarta jogada se e somente se s tem um dos seguintes valores: 1/2, 1/3, -1/2, -1/3, -1/4, -1/5. Estes correspondem respectivamente a (4,3,1), (3,2,1), (4,1,3), (3,1,2), (8,3,5), (5,2,3). Como 50 n�o � m�ltiplo de 4, 3 ou 8, a �nica possibilidade � a �ltima.
