Central Park, Manhattan, N.Y. City - into Thursday-Friday, August 22nd - 23rd -
Starting off with the migratory American warbler species seen into - and on - Thursday, August 22nd for ALL of Central Park and as seen by many, many dozens of observers, independently watching and photographing - ALL of the following were seen into Thursday, at Central Park - a majority of these species were in the multiple, and a few were well into double-digits numbers, within this one park on Thursday. Some of the other migrants and regular birds of this park are additionally listed below the warblers. Many of these birds are also starting to be seen for Friday, August 23rd. Red-winged Blackbird Common Grackle Brown-headed Cowbird Orchard Oriole Baltimore Oriole House Finch American Goldfinch There are likely some additional species that are not listed above which have occurred and there are as is typical various additional species having been seen in other parts of N.Y.
