This afternoon at 1:35pm Bob and I saw an Ash-throated Flycatcher perched above the fence along the eastern edge of the landfill,where there's a big clump of bittersweet.The footpath we were on runs parallel to the beach and the fence, starting near a bridge. We only had the bird in view for a minute, but I did manage to get a few photos. I'm told it was seen by Richard Aracil at the landfill earlier in the week.
