Just a reminder to everyone that they must PLEASE stay on the main pathway going over the landfill and not walk on any of the side paths (as inviting as they look) as the grassland project is still very much under way. This grassland project is so critical for this unique habitat and this sparrow hanging around is a testament to its success so far. Please also refrain from using playback – the sparrow is very accommodating and comes fairly close to the main pathway if you stay still and quiet.
