The mud flats are back. Although the cut is still closed (Sag Pond is also closed but the flats are gone).
100+ shorebirds at Mecox this morning including a late adult Baird’s Sandpiper, 2 White-rumped Sandpipers, etc. Also 3 Caspian and a few Royal Terns. No Avocet in either location ...
