I returned at first light this morning and met two women who were already 
there. Eventually, the golden-crowned sparrow showed and we all got to see it 
well (my thanks to them for allowing me to look through their scope). I believe 
it appeared around 7:45 AM or so. It disappeared at some point, perhaps in the 
shrub adjacent to the deck. I left the site around 8:45 after not seeing it for 
a bit, so not sure if it showed up again.
