Hi All,

I must object to the characterization of this pond in Nissequogue SP as 
algae-covered. I've looked at several photos posted to eBird, and the pond is 
covered with duckweed:

To quote from the wikipedia account: "Duckwwed is an important high-protein 
food source for waterfowl."
