On Governors Island yesterday (Fri. 16-Mar) I was able to get a few record shots of one of the flock of six vocal European Goldfinches visiting Hammock Grove SW of Liggett Hall.
Approved New York City eBird sightings of EUGO have been on Governors Island (NY County), Socrates Sculpture Park (Queens) and many in Brooklyn including Prospect Park and Green-wood Cemetery. For 2018 the only sightings in NYS are at Governors Island and Green-wood Cemetery. Governors Island is unfortunately closed to the public until May 1st. This trip was organized by NYC Audubon.
